Well DA is asking folks how DA has helped them as an artist so here it goes...

Ive always loved to draw. As a kid I was exceedingly good at it but I never pursued it as a career of choice. I went the route of computers for my career choice but I always fancied myself a creative person. Doing web design before it was popular, designing my own graphics, etc. Prior to making an account on DA, I only did things as needed.

A friend inspired me to make an account on here to "show off" my work and get feedback. In addition there was a side effect of finding tons of other artists on here who were willing to share experience, tips, tricks and tutorials to help improve my artwork and creativity.

Now DA has become a source of inspiration for my creativity. I dont post all that much of my own things still, but seeing other artists share their work and creations has given me ideas of my own to do.
